Welcome to our office. You have been referred to our office because your dentist believes your periodontal needs will most effectively be treated by a periodontist. Our doctors and staff will work closely with your dentist’s office to help you achieve and maintain optimal oral health.

We are pleased to be your choice for your periodontal care and strive to provide you with a comfortable experience. We realize that as a new patient you may have several questions regarding our office procedures and policies.

Please bring your completed health questionnaire, signed copy of our financial policy, insurance card, photo ID, referral (if given to you) and any radiographs your dentist may have given you, with you to your first visit. You may also arrive 15 minutes early to complete the new patient forms.

Your first appointment will be a comprehensive evaluation and discussion of your concerns. We will review your medical history, dental history, and any available radiographs from your dentist. If needed, we may also take new radiographs. The comprehensive oral and soft tissue exam will include full mouth measurements to obtain a complete understanding of the oral condition. Dr. McHale will review findings and treatment options with you and answer questions you may have regarding treatment. In this manner, you will be able to make an informed decision about your periodontal care.
