Michelle McHale, DDS, MS
Dr. Michelle McHale was born and raised in Burnsville, Minnesota. She has been in private practice since 2016 and recently returned to Minnesota after her husband completed a surgical residency in otolaryngology- head and neck surgery in Kansas City. They are the proud and tired parents of three busy boys. She enjoys coaching and cheering her children on at their various activities, spending time with her family, running, and traveling.
After graduating college from Creighton University, Dr. McHale returned to Minnesota to obtain her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree and graduated with High Distinction from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. She completed a general practice residency at Hennepin County Medical Center. She returned to the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and completed her three year residency in periodontics and obtained her Master of Science.
Dr. McHale has presented her research internationally and has made significant achievements beyond the mandatory educational requirements of the specialty. She earned her board certification and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. She is a part-time faculty member at Hennepin County Medical Center and shares her periodontal expertise educating the general practice residents. Dr. McHale has also served as a part-time faculty member at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry and the New York University College of Dentistry at the Southeast Alaska Regional Health Consortium-Juneau and Sitka.
